About us
Our history
Curious about the history of the Hautes-Appalaches cantons in the 19th century? The primary mission of the Kinnear's Mills Heritage Society is to make available research on our history. This research describes the many defining moments of our village through the lives of our illustrious founders, James Kinnear and his wife Harriet Wilson.
Our bucolic village has many jewels:
-
- An English, Irish and Scottish story;
- Four churches (Methodist, Anglican, Presbyterian and Catholic) at the same intersection;
- Hiking trails (mountain, Osgood River and nature);
- And so much more!

Our mission
Since its creation, Héritage Kinnear's Mills has sought to promote and disseminate research on the heritage of Kinnears Mills and the Hautes-Appalaches region.
